Appointment Information

What Chicago clients should know before booking.

These guidelines help ensure your mobile notary appointment runs smoothly, whether the appointment takes place at your home, office, hospital, or another Chicago location.

Payment Policy

  • Travel fee required to secure appointment
  • Remaining balance due at time of service
  • Accepted forms of payment include Zelle, debit/credit cards, and cash
  • Travel and convenience fees are separate from Illinois state regulated notarization fees
Pricing may vary depending on travel distance, appointment urgency, and document type.

ID Requirement

  • Valid government-issued photo ID required
  • Name on ID must match the document
  • Signer must be physically present during notarization
  • Signers must appear aware and willing to sign
Expired or damaged identification may prevent notarization from being completed.

Document & Witness Policy

  • Documents should be complete before the appointment
  • Do not sign documents before the notary arrives unless instructed
  • Witnesses must be present if required by your document
  • Please confirm witness requirements before scheduling

Wait Time Policy

  • First 15 minutes included
  • Additional wait time may apply after 15 minutes
  • Please communicate delays as early as possible
  • Hospital and care facility visits may require extra timing flexibility
